CAD & DFM

Full parametric model, manufacturing constraints built in from the first surface.

The engineering behind it.

The objective was to create a modern storage water heater with a softer, more premium visual language than conventional flat-panel appliances.

The enclosure was developed around injection moulding best practices, ensuring the decorative wave surfaces remained practical for tooling while preserving structural integrity and production efficiency.

Particular attention was given to balancing aesthetics with manufacturability. Surface transitions were simplified, wall sections were controlled for mouldability, and the internal architecture was planned to support straightforward assembly and servicing.

The resulting concept combines premium industrial design with production-ready engineering, delivering an appliance that is visually distinctive, practical to manufacture, and suitable for scalable consumer product development.
