RenderThis project focused on developing a modern wall-mounted RO water purifier that combines attractive industrial styling with practical manufacturing engineering. The defining feature of the design is the panoramic transparent enclosure, which exposes the complete filtration system and transforms the internal engineering into a prominent visual element while maintaining a clean and premium appearance.
The internal architecture was carefully planned to package the RO membrane, activated carbon filters, UV chamber, booster pump, tubing, valves, and associated plumbing within a compact enclosure. Efficient component positioning improves space utilization, simplifies assembly operations, enhances service accessibility, and supports organized routing of the filtration system.
The enclosure was engineered following Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles suitable for injection moulded plastic production. Manufacturing considerations including wall thickness consistency, structural reinforcement, mould split-line planning, and production-friendly geometry were incorporated throughout the development process. The final concept demonstrates a balanced combination of industrial design, functional engineering, manufacturability, and consumer appeal suitable for commercial production.
