Premium Domestic Air Cooler Cabinet Design for Plastic Injection Moulding

Premium Consumer Styling
The cabinet was developed with a layered front fascia, flowing surface transitions, and balanced proportions to create a premium visual identity. Every styling element was designed to improve showroom appeal while maintaining clean manufacturing geometry suitable for injection moulding.
Distinctive Front Grille Design
The front grille introduces a modern circular layout surrounded by sculpted contours and integrated honeycomb detailing that gives the product a unique market identity. The design differentiates the cooler from conventional products while maintaining practical engineering for production.
Manufacturing-Oriented Plastic Engineering
The cabinet was engineered using Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles including appropriate draft angles, uniform wall thickness, tooling-friendly geometry, structural ribs, and efficient part separation. These decisions help simplify mould manufacturing and improve production consistency.
Integrated Control Panel Architecture
The upper control panel is seamlessly incorporated into the cabinet design, creating a clean and organized appearance while simplifying the overall product architecture. The integration improves aesthetics and reduces unnecessary visual complexity.
Production-Ready Cabinet Development
The complete cooler cabinet was designed as a production-oriented consumer product with attention to component integration, manufacturability, assembly practicality, and long-term commercial use. The design is suitable for large-scale plastic injection moulding production.

The engineering behind it.

This domestic air cooler cabinet was developed to combine modern consumer styling with practical manufacturing engineering. The objective was to create a product that immediately attracts attention while remaining economical to manufacture using plastic injection moulding.

The front fascia features flowing three-dimensional surfaces, an integrated circular grille, honeycomb corner details, and a clean control panel layout that together establish a distinctive product identity. Rather than relying on excessive decorative elements, the design achieves its premium appearance through carefully balanced proportions and surface transitions.

From an engineering perspective, every major plastic component was developed using Design for Manufacturing principles. Draft angles, wall thickness distribution, tooling accessibility, rib placement, and assembly considerations were incorporated throughout the development process to support reliable mould construction and efficient mass production.

The result is a modern domestic air cooler cabinet that combines premium styling, production-ready engineering, and commercial manufacturability in a single product.
