Premium Domestic Air Cooler Design with Innovative Side Grill

Premium Wave-Textured Front Panel
The lower front fascia incorporates a custom wave-inspired texture that enhances both aesthetics and user interaction. Instead of a plain plastic surface, the textured geometry creates a premium tactile feel whenever the product is handled while improving the perceived quality of the appliance. The texture is fully optimized for plastic injection moulding and production consistency.
Manufacturing-Ready Plastic Cabinet
Every major cabinet component was developed using Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. Proper draft angles, uniform wall sections, practical split lines, and production-friendly geometry reduce manufacturing risk while ensuring high-quality moulded parts. The complete cabinet is suitable for large-scale plastic injection mould production.
Optimized Three-Side Cooling Performance
The cabinet architecture supports efficient three-side cooling pad placement to maximize cooling efficiency while maintaining compact external dimensions. Airflow pathways were carefully considered during the design stage to achieve strong cooling performance without increasing the overall product footprint.
Contemporary Consumer Product Styling
The overall industrial design focuses on clean proportions, smooth surface transitions, integrated mobility, and modern detailing suitable for today's consumer appliance market. Every exterior element was balanced to create a premium appearance while remaining practical for high-volume manufacturing.
Innovative Side Cooling Pad Grille
Unlike conventional domestic air coolers that use simple vertical or horizontal louvers, this design introduces a completely new geometric side cooling pad grille. The specially developed pattern allows unrestricted airflow while creating a premium visual identity that immediately distinguishes the product from competing models. The grille was engineered to be mould-friendly, structurally strong, and suitable for mass production without increasing tooling complexity.

The engineering behind it.

This project was developed to create a premium domestic air cooler that stands apart from conventional products through both engineering and industrial design. Rather than relying on standard straight-slot cooling pad grilles commonly found across the market, an entirely new side grille geometry was developed to improve product identity while maintaining unrestricted airflow to the cooling pads.

Special attention was also given to customer interaction with the product. The lower front panel features a unique wave-textured surface that provides a refined tactile experience while elevating the overall visual appeal of the cabinet. Every major component was designed with plastic injection moulding requirements in mind, including production-friendly draft angles, practical parting lines, and efficient structural geometry.

The final result is a manufacturing-ready domestic air cooler that combines distinctive styling, production feasibility, optimized airflow, and premium consumer aesthetics into a commercially viable product ready for tooling and mass production.
