Premium Transparent Display Design
The transparent upper enclosure intentionally exposes the filtration system, allowing users to monitor cartridge placement while creating a premium, technology-inspired appearance. This improves user confidence, simplifies maintenance, and enhances the overall product experience without compromising the clean exterior styling.
Injection Moulding Optimized Construction
The enclosure was engineered using Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles with consistent wall thickness, manufacturable draft angles, tooling-friendly geometry, reinforced mounting features, and efficient assembly architecture. The design is prepared for reliable injection moulding and high-volume production.
Compact Wall-Mounted Architecture
The rectangular vertical layout minimizes installation space while efficiently packaging the RO membrane, UV chamber, activated carbon filter, pump, and associated plumbing. The compact arrangement improves serviceability, reduces footprint, and integrates cleanly into modern kitchens.
Production-Ready Internal Packaging
Internal components have been strategically positioned to optimize water flow, maintenance accessibility, manufacturing efficiency, and structural rigidity. The layout supports organized routing of filters, tubing, electrical components, and mounting hardware for streamlined production and servicing.
Complete Consumer Appliance Engineering
This project demonstrates complete product engineering including industrial design, mechanical packaging, enclosure development, filtration integration, manufacturability analysis, and production-ready CAD modelling. The design is suitable for tooling development, engineering validation, and commercial manufacturing.

The engineering behind it.

This project involved the complete industrial design and mechanical engineering of a premium wall-mounted RO water purifier intended for modern residential and commercial environments. The objective was to develop a compact, elegant appliance while maximizing internal component accessibility and manufacturing efficiency.

A transparent upper enclosure was incorporated to visually expose the filtration system, providing users with a clear view of the RO membrane, activated carbon cartridge, UV chamber, pump assembly, and internal plumbing. This approach combines functional transparency with premium aesthetics while simplifying maintenance and reinforcing product quality.

The enclosure was developed following Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles for injection moulded plastic production. Particular attention was given to wall thickness consistency, draft angles, structural reinforcement, tooling feasibility, assembly methods, and internal packaging. The final product integrates attractive industrial styling with production-ready engineering suitable for large-scale manufacturing.
